Luscious Layerings Visits Quilters By the Sea

Our ever generous Beth went visiting again- this time to the Quilters by the Sea guild in Durban North - to talk about the Luscious Little Layers project.

Quilters by the Sea is a working guild in that they often have projects and workshops and this meeting was no exception. I understand that by the end of the meeting, several Luscious Little Layers had been completed.

Here are some photos of Beth in action together with some of the members of Quilters by the Sea.

Luscious Little Layerings Went Visiting

Luscious Little Layerings went visiting today with Beth Barkus, the convenor, to St Matthews "Sisters" quilt exhibition in Pietermaritzburg and generated considerable interest- especially since the MACS Journal Quilt exhibit formed part of the Sisters exhibition.
Journal Quilts and some Luscious Layerings

Dare we hope that some of the exhibitors in the MACS exhibition will donate their Journal quilts to the Luscious Little Layerings? There are such luminaries as Carolyn Kode amongst those entries.

If you want to know more about the Sisters Exhibition then go toTollgate Quilters Guild for photos and information about the exhibition.
