sorry, Phil - I tried! Even dredged through a book of idioms, to no avail. Thought of Doing the Cake Walk for the last one, but that's not an idiom; also washing your dirty linen in public; the second one looks like night and day, but the first one has left me completely stumped! Do tell what they are - it's driving me mad! Brenda
